The number of people who live abroad is literally millionaires. It is surprising to see the number of registered voters. Because at least one percent of the millionaires (1 lakhs 30 thousand) are not registered as voters. Only 71,000 people were registered as voters. That is 0.5 percent.

దేశం వీడి విదేశాల్లో నివసిస్తున్న వారి సంఖ్య అక్షరాలా కోటి ముప్పై లక్షలు. మరి అందులో ఓటర్లుగా నమోదు చేసుకున్నవారి సంఖ్య చూస్తే ఆశ్చర్యమే. ఇక లెక్కల్లో ఎక్కాలు చూస్తే మరింత కంగుతినాల్సిందే. ఎందుకంటే కోటి ముప్పై లక్షల మందిలో కనీసం ఒక్క శాతమైనా (1 లక్ష 30 వేలు) ఓటర్లుగా నమోదు కాలేదు. కేవలం 71 వేల మంది మాత్రమే ఓటర్లుగా రిజిస్టరయ్యారు. అంటే 0.5 శాతం అన్నమాట.
